Content Update
XCIPTV uses background and foreground content update.
Foreground Content Update:
XCIPTV uses foreground app update:
- Foreground content update - updates TV, VOD, Series and TV Guide
- New Account login
- Switch Account
- App keeps track of last content update time. If last content update time is older than 24 hours, app will use foreground content update
- If portal address change by provider in Ottrun's backend.
XCIPTV uses background app update:
- Background content update - updates only EPG (TV Guide).
- App keeps track of last EPG (TV Guide) update time. If last EPG update time is older than 12 hours, app will use background content update to download EPG.
